Is it even possible to weld a broken shock mount on a P200 engine case?
I’ll let you know as soon as I get it back from the welder.

What do you think of this beauty ?
1977 Original condition with 217 miles ! (one of first 1000 made)
I purchased it on ebay from a Vespa dealer in Atlanta, GA and my friend Dave; a great guy at Scooter Mercato helped crate and ship via ground shipper

I am looking for a good Vespa body expert in the SF Bay area- I want to restore all my project scooters to their original fit and finish – I am the mechanic who make things come to life but need a body man to make it look great !
Would be willing for a barter deal of some-sort!
I acquired this engine case a few years back and did not realize at the time what unique characteristics it possessed – Upon close examination I discovered the following:
If you have any info on the origins of this case or what this may have been used for, please do let me know.
I am interested in building this engine to what it was designed for.

I purchased this scooter as parts from a gentleman in Fresno, CA. This has been a good learning experience for my son who put it together and then dismantled it again to do body work – condition look very rough but the body metal is strong – currently it is a techni-color but should be yellow when fully restored.
I know it is a waste of money to spend anything on a bajaj 4 stroke, it is a good learning experience using a modern predictable platform.
